My name is Jackie, I am the artist who brings life to these beautiful, special babies. I live in Lancashire where I was born and brought up. I have three children and will become a grandma for the first time in September 2008. I began reborning after seeing these babies and marveling at their lifelike appearance. I've always been eager to turn my hand to any kind of art or craft so it seemed logical to try creating these little miracles and so Under The Gooseberry Bush was born. My babies have now been adopted worldwide.

Do you remember as a childbeing told that babies where found under the gooseberry bush? All my Gooseberry Bush Babies are created with love, cuddles and hugs, it's all they've ever known. Each one is given it's own unique look and personality, no two are the same. Even twins differ slightly. My medium of choice is the Genesis Heat Set system - this gives none fading colour to the vinyl which is very hard wearing. I particularly like the lifelike effects you can achieve using this system. I ensure that only quality materials are used in my babies. They are sent to their new homes well packaged with their own birth certificate and care instructions.
